Main Points of Safe Operation for Pressure Vessels
What are the main points of safe operation of pressure vessels?
It is strictly forbidden to run over stated temperature and pressure; avoid misoperation, prevent excessive feeding or impurities contained in the feeding (impurities come from pressure caused by chemical reaction); prevent excessive filling or accidental heating (liquefied gas), etc.:
(1) Operators should carefully follow the operating procedures (craft and safety operating procedures).
(2) The operation process should be stable (loading and unloading should be carried out slowly; the load should be relatively stable during the operation, and the temperature rise and drop should also be slow).
(3) Do not remove the compression bolts when under pressure.
(4) When operating heat exchanger, the cold flow should be introduced first and then the heat flow, and the introduction speed should be slow.
(5) Stick to the post and observe the changes of technological parameters.
(6) Adhere to the inspection system during operation. It is required to check the operating conditions (pressure, temperature, liquid level, chemical composition of the medium, material ratio, feed volume, etc.) in the process; check the condition of the equipment (if there is any leakage at each connection site; whether the equipment is plastically deformed, corroded, or with other defects or suspicious signs; whether the container and pipeline are vibrative or worn); in terms of safety devices, check whether the condition is intact and whether it is within the validity period of verification; itinerant inspections must be scheduled (fixed interval time), fixed locations (critical equipment, pipelines, pumps, valves, containers, indicating instruments, and parts that have failed), and fixed routes (production processes or accident-prone lines).
(7) Carefully fill in the operation records, requiring careful, timely, accurate and true recording of the operation status of the container.
(8) Treatment of running, bubbling, dripping and leaking.
(9) Emergency stop of the container.
