Technical Requirements of Stainless Steel Water Tank (Part One)


1. Equipment manufacturers must have the sanitary license for stainless steel water tanks issued by National Health and Family Planning Commission of China.
 
2. Type inspection report of stainless steel water tanks has been issued by an authoritative organization recognized by the state.

3. The equipment manufacturer shall provide the product inspection report.
 
4. The materials used in equipment production shall conform to the material quality standards meeting drinking water hygiene standards in the country, and quality documents (including chemical composition and mechanical performance tests), relevant inspection and experimental specifications of main equipment materials shall be provided.
 
5. The external dimensions of the water tank and the piping position and dimensions should be in accordance with the drawing design and specifications.
 
6. Stainless steel water tank adopts convex spherical combined welding structure or fabricated structure.
 
7. The material of the water tank shall not be lower than the bidding requirements.
 
8. The reinforcing rebars in the water tank shall have sufficient rigidity and reasonable arrangement, of which materials shall be the same as that of the water tank.
 
9. The arrangement of reinforcing rebars in the water tank shall not affect the cleaning of the water tank and the installation and inspection of water tank fittings.
 
10.The water tank base must be made of hot-dipped galvanized channel steel, and its structure and strength shall meet the using requirements of the water tank.
 
11. Water tank shall be provided with manholes according to drawings and site conditions, and ladders shall be deployed inside and outside with the same materials as the tank.
 
12. The welding of stainless steel must be argon-arc welding.
 
13. Water tank base shall be assembled in the form of bolt fastening. The fasteners shall be treated by hot-dip galvanized and anti-corrosion method accompanied with high-strength bolts.
 
14. After the water tank is welded, all connecting parts shall not have any loosened phenomenon and leakage.
 
15. The welding seam of the water tank shall be full. The outer welding surface of water tanks shall be smooth, beautiful, free from slag inclusion, weld beading, air hole and crack. There should be no dent, separation and risk of hand cutting. Weld joints need polishing treatment.
