Technical Requirements of Stainless Steel Water Tank (Part Two)
16. The bottom plate of the water tank should be kept flat.
17. The top of the water tank and the manhole must be fully welded, and the quality requirements are the same as those specified in (8).
18. The connection port of the water tank must be well welded, and at the same time try to keep it vertical, at least the inclination is not greater than 1°.
19. The stainless steel plate used for the water tank should meet the requirements of GB/T3280. Regarding the stainless steel plate used in the water tank, the thickness tolerance of the inner and outer plates is less than 10%.
20. The protruding parts inside and outside the inlet of the water tank should be flanged or take other protective treatments to avoid cutting people.
21. All water tanks should be equipped with a vent pipe, and the outer open end of the vent pipe should be provided with a dust cover and a stainless steel insect-proof screen.
22. The strength and rigidity of the water tank must be compatible with the capacity and water pressure.
23. The water tank should be equipped with flanges, which are made of stainless steel forgings.
24. Equipment manufacturers shall provide manufacturing factories, places of production and qualified certificates of stainless steel plates.
25. The stainless steel spherical plate should be extruded by a hydraulic press to avoid stress and hydrocarbon cracking.
26. The depth of the notch, scratch and collision on the surface of the spherical plate shall be less than 0.3mm.
27. The water tank is externally connected with a short stainless steel tube, and the material of the flange piece must be as same as the material of the water tank.
28. The convex surface of the bottom plate of the vent pipe (sewage pipe. is facing downward, and the folding direction is opposite.
29. After welding of the stainless steel water tank is completed, pickling, passivation, and removal of residues in the tank are required.
30. Fill the fabricated water tank with water, and there must be no seepage, water leakage, or obvious deformation. It should be carried out in accordance with the relevant water-filled test clauses of welded steel atmospheric containers. (GB50242-2013 Code for Construction Quality Acceptance of Building Water Supply, Drainage and Heating Engineering. .
31. After cleaning, fill the water tank with water that complies with GB5749 and set aside for 1h. The water at the outlet of the water tank should meet the requirements of GB5749.
