What Requirements Must the Pressure Vessel Meet?
The
pressure vessel must have the specific performance required by the process, safe and reliable; easy to manufacture and install; advanced structure, convenient maintenance and economic and rational features.
The design of
pressure vessels must meet the following requirements:
(1) Strength.
Refers to the ability of the container to resist cracking or excessive deformation under a certain pressure or other external load;
(2) Stiffness.
Refers to the ability of the container to resist failure due to excessive elastic deformation;
(3) Stability.
Refers to the ability of the container to resist shape changes caused by external loads.
(4) Durability.
It refers to the container which has a sufficient service life. The container is well maintained, and its service life can be much longer than the design life.
(5) Sealing.
It refers to the ability of the container connection to keep the media from leaking.
